Sharing a Meal
Series: Core Practices
At the core of any relationship is food and drink. Eating together. Throughout history, there is no more universal a way for people to connect. Jesus certainly spent much of his life sharing meals with people – particularly those who were spiritually disoriented. Thus, we desire to make sharing a meal a part of our lifestyle. Whether it be a coffee break at work, a lunch or having someone to your home for a BBQ, the effort spent to connect with people around a meal and get to know their stories will only fuel our ability to pray for and serve them for the sake of Christ.
