Hope Remains

Series: Summer in the Psalms

Hopelessness is a common expression of the soul in our culture.  The script we write in our hearts doesn’t always look hopeful.  Not only does what we read on our news feeds often leave us feeling helpless, what we see going on in our lives leaves us feeling the same way. The psalmist reminds us time and time again that hardships are a part of life. We can’t escape pain. But we can cling to hope -  a hope that in the middle of the mess there is a God who is faithful to walk with us. Because of the steadfast love of God, we can cry with hope, no matter what life brings.
