CALLED OUT To Stand Up

In many ways the book of Acts is the story of the clash of two Kingdoms.  People were expecting Jesus to establish an earthly kingdom by earthly standards, however his was a heavenly kingdom “not by might nor by power”.  Jesus radically redefines what power looks like, and the book of Acts tells the story of his followers discovering that power and clashing with the religious, political and business powers of the day.  We too are called to stand up and stand out as members of a different Kingdom.
