Ways to Give

GIVE ONLINE

At St. Albert Alliance, we are seeking to grow in being good stewards of God’s resources.

It's amazing to see God's creativity, love, and generosity on full display each and every day. Our church family generously gives their time, service, talents, and treasures through so many acts of worship, and we invite you to join us in our movement of every day generosity!

We believe that the practical outworking of putting Jesus First in our finances (through such things as returning to God the tithe, giving offerings and being radically generous) helps protect our hearts from small and self-centered living and positions us to be a blessing to many others within God’s Kingdom economy.

Here are some tools that St. Albert Alliance has available to help you in your journey of stewardship:

The Seed Project (Building Fund)  is used to cover the costs associated with the future development of our land and facility. Click HERE to find out more about The Seed Project and how you can get involved.

The StAAC Mission Fund  supports all StAAC initiated mission efforts, some of our partners in mission, and members of our church family who are stepping out in response to God’s call on their lives, locally and globally.

The Benevolent Fund supports people from our congregation and the broader community who are facing difficult circumstances and potential crisis situations.  Additionally, we provide some strategic financial support to agencies who assist us in this call to reach those with immediate felt and tangible needs.

Church Planting Fund used to support Elder approved local church planting initiatives.

Spending of funds is confined to Board approved funds or projects. Each restricted contribution designated towards a Board approved fund, program or project will be used as designated with the understanding that when the need for such a fund, program or project has been met, or cannot be completed for any reason determined by the Board, the remaining restricted contributions designated for such fund, program or project will be used where needed most.

I am praying that you will put into action the generosity that comes from your faith as you understand and experience all the good things we have in Christ. - Philemon 1:6

SERVE GENEROUSLY

God has called us to serve generously. We do this when we respond to God by supporting the needs of the church, community and world—when we serve others and share our time, talents and finances. We do this when we pray for people, show love, and live each day with God's wisdom. We do this by celebrating what God is doing—in our church and in the lives of others.

Giving Callout

We’re passionate about reaching people for Christ—and we believe God has called us to move into new communities to do this. But we can't do it without you. That's what One by One is all about: partnering together to reach one person and one community at a time.

Why We Give

As a church, we believe that we are called to respond to the generosity of the gospel by giving extravagantly to the progress of the gospel in our community and world. Biblical generosity is not about meeting budget needs. It is about a rich and trusting relationship with a living God. We express our faith and love to Him by honoring Him as the source of everything we have. Scriptural giving is performed with regularity, from the first portion of all we are given, as a proportion of our income, cheerfully, and without pressure or manipulation.

What is Tithing?

Tithing is our starting place in giving. The Bible teaches us about a baseline standard for giving: the tithe (a word that literally means a “tenth”). When we give the first 10% of our income through the local church, we put God first in our lives. Tithing is an act of worship that expresses our gratitude, faith, and love for others. God also encourages us to give offerings beyond our tithe to specific projects at our local church and to other organizations and causes that we personally believe in.
